Ah blissful 2 days! Sorry, did not blog last 2 days coz I was too busy enjoying myself and was lazy. Also, this challenge is helping! I am not using my IPad and iPhone too much meaning that if I don’t blog between the designated times, I usually remember when it is too late and then I can’t break the curfew. So let me tell you how my days went.
Day 23
It was a lazy Saturday morning. Avi woke up early to get some supplies while Yash and I napped. When we woke up, Yash wanted to go out for breakfast while I was in no mood to go anywhere. So I promised him a full breakfast of what he liked at home. I cooked scrambled eggs for him and an Indian omelette, with onions, fresh ginger and garam masala, for Avi and I. Hot cross buns (toasted with butter) and hash browns accompanied the eggs to make a sumptuous breakfast! Check out the pic!
Yash had been harassing us to take him to darling harbour for a play for ages. So we did exactly that. In the evening, we went to darling harbour for an early dinner and some spider climbing by a very boisterous boy. It was a very pleasant autumn evening and the harbour was full of other revellers like us enjoying our beautiful city. Avi and I have vowed to do it more often and enjoy the city a bit more. Here is a pic of both my boys.
Day 24
Easter Sunday! It was a day of celebrations for all our Christian friends across the world. Easter bunny visited our house too and had a very happy boy waiting to devour it. Breakfast in our house is rarely chocolate, but yesterday was an exception. The day actually started and ended with a chocolate making Yash a very happy boy. Here is his picture with the golden bunny!
In the evening, we were going to celebrate Easter with our friends Kala and JP. I always believe that there are some people who come into your life for a reason and they have come into ours to spread more love. You won’t find a nicer or more loving family who have opened their hearts and homes to us. We truly feel blessed to have them and some other close friends in our adopted homeland. It has made our lives richer and easier.
It was a great night and the party carried on till midnight as it was double celebrations – the other being JP’s birthday. He had no clue which made it even better. As always it was a fab night with some of my favourite people. The pictures tell the story!
