The first day of the new year is like that pseudo reset where it feels that you can restart and renew. Every year I set some goals for the year, more like how I want my year to be directed. It has helped me the past few years and I love going back and reading my blogs.
This year, I have a few goals that I have set for myself.
- I will continue to put my health and wellbeing as a top priority. I will ensure that I get frustrated less which is something that has caused me stress in the past year.
- I will focus on my physical wellbeing – will continue with my walks and add weight training to the mix so that I can remain mobile as I grow older.
- I will continue to practice gratitude and keeping my journal. It has certainly helped me keeping centerred.
- My family is most important for me and I will ensure that we spend time together, especially with my parents with whom my time is limited on this earth as they grow older.
- My friends spread joy in my life, so I will invest in my relationships and ensure that we start some new traditions and continue some old.
- I aim to focus on my passions – blog more, read more books, cook splendid meals, sing more songs and dance my heart away.
Life is transient, uncertain and has its own way to unfold. Let life flow has been my mantra and I am looking forward to what it brings forth in 2025!
