I have just crossed 40 and it is time to take it easy. I have to pay more attention to what I eat. Even though we eat 6 days out of 7 at home, I do eat lunch out almost everyday. Also, in the busy life, unless you want to do consciously, you don’t pay attention to what you put in your mouth. So I decided to take a challenge and start by quitting one thing which is the talk of the world and we know does not add any value. I have been reading this great blog by Kate, and decided to follow her path. Unlike some of the others that I have read, she does not preach. Instead, encourages to follow your own path and what suits your body and lifestyle. Listening to your body is my mantra, so I liked what she wrote and decided to leave sugar.
So my journey to be sugar free starts……I am pretty sure I will fail sometimes but hey that is life! I have completed one day and leaving sugar in obvious places like tea was easy. The hard part is trying to locate sugars in things you would not think it existed. Well my first day was good, I did not have much sugar as per my fitness pal app. Day 2 has started well. Hopefully in 8 weeks, I will get there……good luck to me 🙂
