I have been slack and sick and tired and busy. So no blog for the past few days. I am covering 3 days in a row with no pictures as I forgot to take any in my tiredness.
Day 15
My insomnia is getting worse. Partly coz the weather can’t make up its mind. I woke up at 4 which meant I was grumpy by the time I reached office. A breakfast of sourdough toast and coffee perked me up a it but it was a busy day. Lunch was fish cakes with salad at Cloudy bay restaurant. By the time it was evening, my head was aching and I felt slightly sick. My friend Gia gave me kadhi and I skipped Gym to have the yummy kadhi, the best I have ever had. The gobhi alu cooked that day was stowed away for the next day.
Day 16
I slept well but realised that Yash had given me the viral germs. So my throat was sore and I was coughing. The breakfast was the same – coffee and sourdough toast. It was a really busy day at work meaning I bought my lunch of rice ans vegetables from the shop downstairs and had it at my desk. I was delayed in the evening but the dinner was yum prepared by my darling husband – mutter paneer with roti. He also made lamb aloo but I don’t eat that. I will post the recipe when I cook the same.
Day 17
Another insomniac day, this time the whole family woke up! I had 2 cups of Indian chai to make up for waking early. But the sleep deprivation coupled with bad throat made me look and feel sick. A repeat of breakfast and yum cha for lunch were the meals for the day. I was still tired by the time I came back and did not wanna cook. So we had the tried and tested toast and indian omelette for dinner. Tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully I can sleep better and start writing my blog properly, pics and all!
