This is how bad my week went that I am posting three days in one! Between work and dinners, it has been a hectic week to say the least. Today is Friday and I am exhausted! Let me cover the days one by one……
Tuesday, 3rd December was our monthly offsite at work. I went in early as I had to finish a few things and then went back to work to tie a few others. So it went on to become a very long and tiring day. I wore new black and red patterned dress. I quite liked the style and the material. It is made of a mesh fabric and turned out to be extremely comfortable wear and look.
4th December was our 5+ year dinner. Our company hosts an annual dinner for all it’s employees who have been there for more than 5 years. It was a great night! We had around 50 people which says something about our culture! The dinner was at The Bridge Room and the 3 course menu was fabulous. We spent the night regaling stories after stories about the company history and people who have come and gone…..so many memories! I wore a black kaftan which had white neck work and black tights. It was a hot day, so the kaftan turned out to be a good choice….cottony and summery.
By Thursday, 5th December, work was under control. At lunch I went Christmas shopping with Maria for Yash. Santa was generous this year! We both ended up going to Jb-Hi Fi and buying the latest gadgets for the kids. I can’t wait to see the look on Yash’s face when he opens them up on Christmas Day.
It was my friend Ornella’s birthday on Monday. So she organised a couple of her friends to go for dinner at this new, happening place called Bridge Street Garage. The food and the company made the night a memorable event. With the holiday season approaching, we were making plans during the night for more of such catch ups!
I wore my mesh top with a black skirt but this time I wore it with my golden Victoria secret undershirt, not a bad look I would say!I
It is Friday and our Christmas party. I am looking fwd to chilling with few work colleagues and friends, toasting a fabulous year that has gone by and bigger and better things for the new one! Check out my blog tomorrow for all the news on that tomorrow..
