We all envision the future. In fact, anyone who says they don’t are either lying or are a monk. I like to say that I set goals for my future – they are things that I would like to achieve. These goals then help me lay a sort of blue print for next few years.
Of course sometime the best laid plans can go astray. Like we had planned to visit india this year to celebrate my niece’s milestone birthday, catch up with family and travel. But then COVID happened. So adaptation is key.
Today’s blog topic is where I would like to be in ten years’ time? Well the short answer is here in my home in Sydney The more philosophical answer is elaborated next.
As I am growing older, I don’t want to collect anything. I am more interested in experiences and spending time with loved ones. So my next few years plan revolve around that.
Ten years from now I see myself living a life of travel. My son would be an adult which means that my husband and I would be fulfilling our long cherished dream of travelling around Australia and discovering our beautiful country. Waking up to a sunrise at a new place every day is what I am hoping for and if there is no new disruption like a COVID, I may be there!
