My February goals revolved around my sleep and getting myself in a habit of practising calm. A month on, I can definitely say that my sleep is better. Apart from a few crazy nights, I have managed to have a decent sleep hovering between 5-7 hours. That for me is a great progress.
The other goal of practising calm still remains a goal. I started and tried a few different ways but haven’t still developed it into a habit. So that remains an ongoing goal till it becomes a practice.
For March, I have a few goals lined up. For a few years now, I have been practicing Meat Free March. This year would be no different. I would be going meatless for the month.
The other goal I have lined up for myself is around amping up my reading. I am an avid reader and have to read every night before I go to sleep. But I haven’t been reading new books and my reading currently is limited to a few pages of my favourite book every night. This month I will aim to read a minimum of 2 new books.
Another one of my long standing goal, that I will put in practice this month, is around listening to a podcast. Listening is not my strongest skill. I am a dreamer and lose focus very quickly when I am listening to things. Hence I prefer to read rather than listen when I want to focus on something important. But by listening to podcast, I am hoping to develop my concentration skills. I have found a few good ones on Spotify and Apple podcast. So listening to at least one episode everyday will be my aim for this month.
