Yash is 7 months

I can’t believe that it has been 7 months since my little poppet came to this world. Life has flown since then. We went for our first holiday with yash. To say it was eye opening, is an understatement. Before Yash or BY as i like to call it, we took our holidays by just dumping a few things in the car and going away. There was not a worry in the world. This time our car was packed to the brim…it was like we were towing our house…and even then, i was worried that we had missed something and we will need it when we reach there. One thing I have realised, we cannot fly when Yash is this young…it has to be a car….especially as we had to take a break every few hrs to make sure he is not hungry:-) Here is Yash at the McDonald’s rest point on the freeway.

The holiday was fabulous…Salamander Bay is such a peaceful place. I love the Port Stephens area. It is so calm and quiet. The only thing that I realised is that self contained apartment works for us better than the hotel room now…especially when there are bottles to be washed and food to be warmed for a very fussy child.

I loved being able to sepnd 100% of my time with my poppet without feeling exhausted or cranky. We also celebrated our 9th marriage anniversary…first with Yash. so it was spent having room service for food rather than sitting in the restaurant….that would have been too much of a drama:-)

Easter was spent at Nelson Bay with Yash happy looking at the easter bunny and both of us happy with enjoying our drinks…thanks to the small distraction. Here is a picture of Yash with the Easter bunny waiting for the chocalate.
