I have always believed that in order to have a fulfilling life you need to have a loving family, by birth or chosen, some loving friends and abundance of love. Everything else should surround this core.
I am really lucky that I have an amazing family who shower me with love, are there to guide me and also provide unconditional support when I need it. They are the solid foundation which has helped me build and my safety net that has allowed me to take risks in life.
Same can be said for my friends. I am grateful that I have always had awesome friends. While I have lost touch with some of them as time has passed, I carry fond memories and cherish the time I have spent with them.
As I am growing older, I am becoming really choosy with friends. I want to make sure that I am able to devote time and energy to all relationships in my life. I have a few close friends and I love the fact that I can call them anytime and we can pick conversations even if we meet after ages.
When I depart my physical being, my only desire is that I am surrounded by my family and friends. That will give me peace that I achieved success in my life.
