I missed my blog post yesterday! So you will get two posts today!
If I were to move somewhere, where would that be? I already moved 16 years ago and made Australia home! It was a brave decision at the time, one which I have never regretted but I am not sure I would have the courage to take again.
So, if I were to move somewhere now, I would move back to india. As I am growing older, I am craving for my family. My parents and my sister and my extended family are all in india and I miss them. I miss the milestones and the ability to get up and meet them anytime.
I crave for familiar smells of food. I have laid my roots in Australia and have wonderful life here full of friends like family. But there are times I want to go back to the country of my birth. My parents are not getting any younger and I want to spend more time with them, more than 14,000 kms distance permits.
But it is a distant dream at the moment. With a young child, job and a life in Oz, I am not sure if I have the courage for reverse migration. Though I don’t know how life turns out and what it would bring next. So I will watch the space and see how we go!
