T is also for truth, trust and many other words but I chose T for transform. As I have mentioned in my past few posts, personal learning and growth are very important. They help us hit our goals and transform into whoever we want to be. My aim is to be a better version of myself every day. And that is what my transformation looks like.
As a young girl, I was self critical and did not love myself. I always found fault with my appearance, my actions and looked at my failures as life shattering. I still am self critical but I love me and know that change is a journey. I am very kind to me and look at my faults as work in progression. Also, it has to be something I wanna improve coz just cause others think I should change it, doesn’t mean I should.
Over the years I have also transformed myself to being a little more open, little more empathetic and little less egotist and little less judgemental. This has helped me spread more love, create more friends and be happier in my life.
In all of this, my values remain my guiding anchor as I traverse through this journey of life. I leave with a quote from Rumi
Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wiser, so I change myself.
