I spent the first 30 years of my life in india but never got to travel there. My husband, on the other hand, comes from a defence force family and travelled the length and breadth of the country with his fighter pilot dad.
Jammu and Kashmir is on my list for obvious reason. I did visit it with my parents as a baby but it would be an amazing experience to visit it with my boys. It is really sad that terrorism has destroyed this heaven on earth but I am determined to visit it.
Kerala is called God's own country due to its abundant natural beauty. Our friends from the state have shown us pictures and the beauty is certainly not exaggerated. I want to take a road trip and visit the backwaters, something that my husband promised me 17 years ago and hopefully will fulfil it next year.
