What counts in making a happy marriage is not so much how compatible you are but how you deal with incompatibility – Leo Tolstoy
We complete 20 years of marriage today. It certainly wasn’t smooth sailing all these years but our mutual respect and love conquered any challenges that we faced. When I tell people that we had a traditional arranged marriage, they are surprised. But marriage is like any other relationship, you have to invest in it every single day to make it work. We are best friends and that is what keeps us going!

I did not cook today except for making a curry for our virtual pot luck. I love moong dal pakore but the curry did not turn out to be as good as some of my previous versions. But I am sure my friends would still eat it.

Did I tell you I have the best friends that one can ask for? An idea to celebrate Easter, which we normally celebrate together, took hold and my friend Kala who germinated the idea and then executed it, took charge. We each cooked a dish and she did a pick up and drop off at all 5 homes. It was a feast! Is there a better way to celebrate Easter?

Yash and I are continuing with our pics. Today we took a candid one in our bedroom.

I will end today with the Easter message of hope, love and life…..may it get back to a new normal!
