I missed the blog post yesterday coz I was tired. Not the usual tired but to the bone, grumpy tired. Why, you may ask? Coz my insomnia is back! I have been waking up precisely at 330 every morning and then my brain and body refuse to go to sleep. After a full day of work I am dog tired and hardly in the mood to do anything, let alone write a blog post. So today’s post will be short and sweet.
Yesterday was a hectic day at work, what with a client meeting and all. With my sleep deprivation, I was in a grumpy mood and ready to chew heads off. I think I held myself pretty well though. As it was one of those back to back meeting days, lunch was a chicken pasta from the local food court. I ate it in a hurry coz I had 15 mins to eat lunch and rush to the client meeting.
By the time I came home, I was knackered. My darling husband had cooked gobhi aloo and I made it’s sandwiches and ate that with some left over gozleme. I basically just gulped my dinner coz I wanted to just go to bed and sleep.
But this morning was no different. Precisely at 330 I woke up again and then at 530 managed to go back to sleep only to wale up again at 630. Thank god the busy day meant it went quickly. I went with my friend Maria and Lauren to lunch at Alpha. If you want great Greek food in an amazing ambience, I highly recommend this restaurant to you. I had the slow cooked lamb shoulder which was yum. Do try!
Dinner was a combination of all the leftovers with some ready made rotis. Still better than eating junk outside which I was tempted to go for in my tired state. The picture below tells it all. Till tomorrow……
