100 days of Tech Detox – Day 2

Posted on March 7, 2015 by Sonali

Yesterday was not as bad as day 1. It gets easier as you go. They say it takes 21 days to form a habit. So I have 19 more days!

I spent yesterday working from home and it was non-stop. That is the downside of WFH as I don’t take breaks. But still the upside of avoiding the commute and working in PJs more than makes up for that.

Once I finished work, the match between India Vs WI had started. Did I tell you I was a huge cricket fan? More like a fanatic I would say…..so I sat in front of the TV with my family to watch the blues in action. Now that the digital items were parked away, Yash got an early dinner and I made some palak pooris (fried spinach bread) for us. Yash had a second dinner as he loves pooris and can gobble them by dozen! Pooris and cricket made a good evening enjoyable.

Tomorrow is Women’s day! I will write a blog on that topic tomorrow but I just wanted to touch on the controversy of “Daughter of India” documentary that is now banned in india. I watched it yesterday and I would encourage every one to watch it. It is disturbing but eye opening helping understand where the seeds of evil of rape are sown. Watch it if you haven’t yet!
