My blogging story started in 2008. I was a young mom, at home with a new born boy, with very little adult company. I did not know much about blogging but loved to read. Blogs were becoming popular at the time and one of my good friends Nell started writing about her travels and life.
I loved reading her blog and she encouraged me to start one of my own. I started writing about my journey to motherhood – incidentally that was the name of my blog too.
I started with my life with yash and the things I learnt on the way of becoming his mother. I feel I grew with him as we both adjusted to each other.
That is when I discovered that I loved writing and it was cathartic. What started as a blog about my journey as a mother evolved into a journey about my life.
Two years ago, my cousin inspired me to register my own domain and I learnt how to create my own site. I also blog more regularly and have done multiple challenges to keep up my blogging.
My blog and my writing has evolved since I wrote my very first one. I not only love writing, I love reading my posts later on. I hope my readers do the same as I continue to take my blogging journey and my life.
