I long since stopped chasing perfection. It only adds to stress and anxiety. Instead I chase progress and improvement. So when I am describing my perfect day, it possibly will not go exactly as I am describing but close enough would do 🙂
My day would start by waking up after a full night sleep. I am a chronic insomniac, so when I wake after 6am, I am happy. My perfect day kicks off with a tea in bed made by my darling husband. He knows I love it so he has been doing it since I got married. We both love having tea together and chatting about anything but the humdrum of life. It is our time before we get embroiled into the nitty griity of the day.
My perfect day would not have any routine. I would lie in bed for as long as I want. I love reading in bed or blogging or listening to music. My bed and my bedroom are my favourite place.
I would go out for a nice breakfast. I love breakfast as a meal and it is my favourite meal to eat out. Indian or western, I love it. So that would definitely be part of my favourite day. I would then go for a long walk listening to my favourite podcasts.
Once back, I will have a nice afternoon siesta. I love sleeping in the afternoon. For some reason I get the best deep sleep at that time.
I will wake up, have another cup of tea and then binge on my favourite series. There is so much good content on tv these days and my favourite genres are in plenty. The last one I watched was Made in Heaven and loved it.
I usually have a light dinner and then back in bed with my favourite book before I turn the light out and the day ends. That is a perfect day for me.
