The eleventh month of the year has gone and only 31 days remain between us ushering in the new year.
My November had a few eventful things that I went to which were good for the soul. The month kicked off with the Diwali Party at a close friends’ house. It was great to celebrate it with close friends. we ate, danced and were merry in each other’s company, exactly how festivals should be celebrated.
We went for the melody queen Shreya Ghoshal’s concert. It was surreal to hear her live and she is such an amazing human being. She kept us on our toes for 3.5 hours and I was buzzing when I left the concert.
I watched my friend Poornima Menon starring in a play called “Mahim Junction” written by Sohaila Kapur and directed by Jyotsna Sharma. Poornima joined theatre a few years ago to learn a new skill and get out of her comfort zone. She has since acted in 3 plays and really taken acting in her stride and excelled in it, just like everything else she puts her heart and soul in. I am very proud of her.
The last weekend of the month was catching up with friends at Flyover Friteria, a modern take on Indian Cuisine. Even though it was pouring, we had a fun time chatting over some delicious food. We enjoyed each others company so much that we decided to meet monthly and trying new places to eat meals. We are planning the next meet and calling ourselves “Ladies who brunch”. I will share our escapades as we discover new places.
November was fun and I am looking fwd to December. Here is a short snippet on what went on in the month.
