Day 13 – Dance Dance

Another way to infuse happiness in your life is to get up and dance. Just like music, it helps brings smile to faces. I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t like dancing. Even people with two left feet love to watch though they cannot dance.

It comes with health benefits too! One of the best forms of exercise, you now have various dance forms used in gym classes to promote fitness. Check out this article which talks about some other benefits of dancing.

I love to dance – you can ask my family and friends and that is one thing they will agree about me. I just need Some music and am usually the first one on the dance floor. I come from a creative family and my mother ensured that both my sister and I learnt Kathak(Indian classical dance form) when growing up. I picked up Bollywood dance by watching television.

My best memories are those of music playing in our house, with all of us dancing. This included my dad and mum. Any party in our house ended with everyone on the dance floor. You can say that it is in my blood!

So whether you know it or you don’t, just switch on some foot tapping number and give it a go! You will not regret it! Here’s one of my favourite dances in the recent times!
