Day 4 – Walk for health

Posted on May 15, 2020 by Sonali

A good walk can do wonders for your mental wellbeing. If you walk amongst nature, then that adds another boost to your endorphins aka the happy hormones.

Walking is one of the easiest and cheapest exercise in the world and is possible anywhere and at any time of the day. Read this article around the benefits of walking and its impact on your health.

I have always loved to walk. I have not been a huge fan of gym or any other form of exercise but I love to walk. Since moving to our house, I love walking in our estate which has pathways to walk and abundance of nature in our surrounds.

I enjoyed walking with my friend Poornima before the shutdown happened. We used to chat and de stress during that hour. I have been walking with my husband since the shutdown.

Today, though I missed it. After working all day, I decided to take the walk and realised that it was drizzling outside. With the cold weather and virus still looming, I skipped it. But tomorrow is another day! Share your walking stories – do you like to walk alone or with someone?
