Y – You

Posted on August 25, 2021August 26, 2021 by sonalion

Y is for You! Everything starts and ends here. There is a Shloka in Bhagvad Geeta – Akele aaye hain and akele hi jaana hai – we come to the world alone and leave it alone. It doesn’t translate that we should be alone but the fact that it is very important to think about you!

Like any emotions, there is a fine line between self love and being selfish. But I would prioritise self love any day. It has taken me years of practice to love myself with all my imperfections and quirks. Though self doubt still creeps every now and then but years of training has helped me navigate it in a better way.

A healthy relationship is where you can thrive and bring an element of us. I am not just talking about conjugal relationships but any relationship. You should grow in a healthy relationship, not have to change to remain in one.

We are all unique and special as individuals. That is what makes up the you. We should learn and teach to cherish ourselves from early on. The more we love ourselves, the more we will be able to propagate love, thus enabling a better and more beautiful world. And it all starts with YOU!
